| This position, though a contract position, is a highly important role within the Asia Pacific Brand & Marketing Communications team. The role provides a great opportunity for suitable candidates who are interested in working in a multi-cultural environment in a MNC. The team comprises three other peers (who are permanent headcounts) supporting the full portfolio of products and solutions ranging from Commercial & professional 2-way radios, Systems Solutions (Tetra), Enterprise mobility devices (mobile computing, RFID, Access Data Capture) and Wireless Network Solutions. |
| Main responsibilities: |
| 1. | Provide integrated marketing communications support for the Wireless Network Solutions business (comprising Wireless Broadband, EWLAN and Air Defense). Key deliverables include, but not limited to: | | | | • | New product introduction marketing communications plan – such as collateral plan, demand generation campaigns support through online advertising, advertorials, road shows, channel conferences, interactive creative assets and advertorials. | | • | Collaborate and drive PR and AR teams in support of the Wireless Network Business. | | • | Coordinate and partner closely with global marketing AP marketing and AP product management teams and field marketing to ensure product launches and campaign assets are delivered on time and on budget. | | • | Coordinate and develop case studies across Asia Pacific, including editing final articles before publication. | | • | Act as key marcom liaison and content provider for the online channel portal & Client.com for Wireless Network Solutions and own all updates of content, in close collaboration with AP Interactive Marketing and agencies. | | | 2. | Be the lead for Channel Communications in the channel business, including full editorial responsibilities for online and print channel newsletters for commercial radios and Wireless Networks Solutions. | | 3. | Provide regular updates and reports on key programs and deliverables for leadership team, including the AP Marketing Monthly Report. | | 4. | Additional ad hoc assignments in support of new initiatives that drive the AP business. These will be assigned by Senior Manager. | |
| Experience & Skills |
| At least 8 – 10 years of relevant marketing communications experience in fast paced high tech industry, including some understanding of what makes the channel businesses tick. Passionate about brand and communications, with strong writing and communication skills. Preferably experienced in editorial and publishing projects. Able to work independently, resourceful, has eye for detail and a team player. Adept with standard presentation software such as Microsoft Office, especially Powerpoint. No international travel required. |
